Ceilings are Important
The ceiling is an important part of a room. Too often it is overlooked in interior design. Paint a ceiling other than white. It gives the room warmth and interest. It is a common misconception that ceilings painted in darker colors will make the room feel closed in. Actually, the opposite effect is
achieved.
A white ceiling makes sense if there is a lot of white in other
elements of the room. If not, the white ceiling will be very jarring. Painting the walls and the ceiling a similar or the same hue will make the room seem larger. |
