Julie M. Fergus, ASID
Julie's career began in New York City working for large interior design / architectural firms. Projects included corporate offices, custom built-ins, furniture design and hotel/restaurant design.  She is a professional member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID).  In 1997, after years of commercial and residential design experience, Julie applied her passion for interior design and innovation and created American Home Gallery (AHG), a comprehensive business of retail and design service. AHG includes a retail shop offering one-of-a-kind vintage and custom furnishings, folk art and accessories for home interiors, while providing inspiration and ideas for design clients. American Home Gallery encourages visitors to think differently.  To service inquiries nationally, Julie launched DesignByMail.com, a personalized design solutions service for customers without the need for a home visit.

Recently, Julie began a lecture series focusing on specific interior design topics. These well-attended seminars have been quite successful. Julie's projects have been published in Country Home, Better Homes and Gardens, Yankee and New Hampshire Magazine.
